How to Take Your Measurements

Finding the right fit starts with a few simple measurements. SKYBAK one-piece swimsuits are designed with added torso length for taller women and women with longer proportions, so taking your measurements will help you choose the most comfortable size.

 

Torso Length

Place the measuring tape at the highest point of your shoulder (near your neck). Run it down the front of your body, through your legs, and back up to the starting point.

Tip:
If your torso length is over 30 inches (76 cm) from shoulder to crotch, you likely have a long torso. SKYBAK swimsuits include an additional 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) of length compared with standard one-piece sizing for a better fit and more comfort through the body.

If you typically find most one-pieces pull, ride up or feel short through the body, consider choosing one of our “+” sizes for a little extra ease in both length and width.

 

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level and comfortably snug. This helps determine whether you may prefer a standard size or a “+” size for a fuller or softer bust shape.

 

Under bust / Ribcage

Place the tape directly under your bust. A firmer under bust measurement may suit a standard size, while a softer or fuller ribcage may feel more comfortable in a “+” size.

 

Waist

Measure around the narrowest part of your waist (usually just above the belly button). Keep the tape close to the skin without pulling tight.

 

Hips

Measure around the widest part of your hips and bottom. This helps ensure comfortable coverage without pulling or riding up.
